97-yr-old D-Day Paratrooper Veteran Jumps Again

Meet Tom Rice. This 97-year-old US paratrooper veteran  gets to recreate his D-Day jump. Mr. Rice, served with the Army’s 101st Airborne Division and was able to jump to commemorate the 75 Anniversary of D-Day. Though in 1944 Rice made the jump in the darkness of night and was being shot at, this time in Normandy France it was morning and he was jumping tandem. After a successful jump, and successful landing the Veteran gave a short summary of his experience to the press and seemed to really enjoy the experience. What a feat! A beaming example of the stuff the Greatest Generation is made of! We salute you Mr. Tom Rice!
